Everything about MUTT in one page: how a room works, what the dogs are, where the money goes, and why the result cannot be faked.
1. What MUTT is
MUTT is an eight-dog knockout on BNB Chain. You own three dogs, enter a room for $1, and the dogs fight on their own. One dog team walks away with 65% of the pot.
There is no token. Nothing is minted for emissions, nothing is staked, and no yield is promised anywhere. What a champion takes home is what the other seven teams put in, minus a fixed house cut.
2. A room, step by step
- Seats. Eight teams. A wallet may enter more than one team; every team pays the same $1.
- Lineup. Three dogs plus one strategy per dog. A lineup cannot be changed after the room closes.
- Close. Entries stop at the scheduled time. Nobody can add or edit after that.
- Seed. The fight seed comes from a block produced after the room closed, so it is unknowable while entries are open.
- Bracket. Eight teams play three rounds: 8 → 4 → 2 → 1. Short fields are filled with byes, never with bots.
- Settlement. The result is signed and submitted on-chain; the contract pays the champion and the runner-up directly.
3. The dogs
Three stats, rolled once at mint from a hash of the token id. Base value ±5. No admin function can change stats, supply, or rarity after deployment.
| Breed | PWR | SPD | SKL | Supply |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ironjaw | 80 | 35 | 65 | 600 |
| Boulder | 70 | 30 | 80 | 500 |
| Gale | 55 | 85 | 40 | 500 |
| Shadeclaw | 45 | 75 | 60 | 450 |
| Wisp | 30 | 95 | 55 | 400 |
| Ember | 70 | 55 | 55 | 400 |
| Frostfang | 60 | 60 | 60 | 372 |
| Wraith | 50 | 68 | 72 | 111 |
Total supply is 3,333: 3,033 sold and 300 reserved for free-lane champions. Mint price steps with supply — $2, then $3, then $4.
Every breed carries the same stat budget, so no breed is a shortcut. Across 30,000 simulated three-dog rooms each breed wins between 44% and 55%.
4. Strategies
| Strategy | Damage | Damage taken | Extra |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack | ×1.12 | ×1.05 | — |
| Grind | ×0.95 | ×0.85 | — |
| Ambush | ×0.95 | ×1.00 | +10% dodge, +18% crit |
5. How a fight resolves
- The fastest living dog swings first.
- A swing always targets the opposing dog with the lowest current HP.
damage = (PWR + SPD×0.45) × strategy − defender SPD×0.5crit chance = SKL/250, crit damage ×1.5, capped at 50%.dodge chance = SKL/400.HP = 120 + SKL×1.6.
These are the exact numbers the contracts and the simulator use. The demo at /play runs the same engine in your browser.
6. Where the money goes
An eight-seat room holds $8. Settlement splits it four ways, and the contract enforces the split:
| Recipient | Share | On $8 |
|---|---|---|
| Champion | 65% | $5.20 |
| Runner-up | 15% | $1.20 |
| House | 10% | $0.80 |
| Next room | 10% | $0.80 |
7. Why the result cannot be faked
Three separate guarantees:
- Seed after close. The seed is a block hash produced after entries stop. Neither players nor the operator can know it in advance.
- Deterministic engine. Same seed, same lineups, same strategies → same bracket on any machine. Anyone can recompute a room and compare.
- Signed settlement. The contract accepts a result only with a valid oracle signature over the room, the winners and the seed hash.
8. The .ai Agent ID
Optional, never required. A wallet holding a Binance .ai Agent ID shows its handle instead of a hex address and gets a second free entry each day. Everything an agent needs is documented in llms.txt.
9. Fair play
- Multiple wallets are allowed and unprofitable: a player who fills a whole room pays $8 and can only win $5.20 — the same 30% cost as everyone else.
- Free entries are one per wallet per day. Free winners receive a dog, never cash.
- Dogs are never consumed, burned, or downgraded. Losing costs one entry, nothing else.
